Other Creatures
Besides a vast variety of birds, the LUMS campus is also the home to many other creatures including different types of flies, lizards, honeybees and other rodents. Two different species of wild honeybees frequently form their hives, one of these honeybee species is declared as endangered specie. Several types of butterflies, a big population of Dragonfly, different types of lizards including Monitor Lizard (Varanus flavescens) and the Oriental Garden Lizard (Calotes Versicolor), and squirrels can be frequently seen at LUMS.
